Important Qualification Requirement for State Competitions

To qualify for the Colorado State Leadership and Skills Conference in the following contests, participation in a regional competition is mandatory:

• Automotive Refinishing

• Automotive Service Tech

• Collision Repair Tech

• Maintenance and Light Repair

• Teamworks

• Cabinet Making

• Carpentry

• Welding

• Welding Fabrication

 

The top two qualifiers from each high school and postsecondary institution in each of the above contests at the regional level are eligible to compete at the state conference. Exception: For Teamworks and Welding Fabrication, only the first-place team from each region qualifies for the state competition.

 

Please refer to the Master Calendar for specific dates, times, and contact information for the regional host school in your area. Participation in these regional contests is essential to ensure eligibility for the state-level competitions.
